We perform everything from Structural Masonry, Brick and Stone Veneers, Stucco and EIFS Systems, Fluid Applied WRB’s, ExteriorSealants, Sheathing and Insulation, as well as Renovation of all scopes.


Position Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage a team of estimators performing takeoffs for Masonry/Stucco/EIFS scopes.
  • Be well versed in different assemblies and components for Masonry, Stucco, EIFS, Stone, and Waterproofing.
  • Communicate with GCs on system scopes, logistics, schedule, installation of system, sequencing, and project funding.
  • Responsible for managing/overseeing of the estimating process for all projects from bid through award.
  • Review and assist in developing bid packages after reading, reviewing, and studying construction documents (specifications, plans, addendums, RFIs) for the purpose of understanding the design intent and constructibility of the project.
  • Attend pre-bid meetings, site tours etc. to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate.
  • Meet Owners/GC’s on site to review repair and renovation work, perform field estimates, and compile estimates based on site walk.
  • Prepare and assemble additional information required to be submitted with the proposal, such as value engineering ideas, unit prices, safety information, price breakouts, quantities, schedules, and insurance information.
  • Track and follow up on proposal by collecting feedback, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends from customers.
  • Analysis 90of past performance on projects and establishes estimating standards for all future estimates based on such analysis.
  • Evaluates challenges that may not be on construction documentation and incorporates those into project budget.
  • System knowledge and understanding of unit costs and the factors that affect construction costs.
  • Reviews and analysis ITB’s to find projects to assign estimators that align with company's services and available schedule.
  • Be engaged in the operations side of the business to understand and monitor actual cost vs. estimated cost, be able to speak to early conversation and decisions made on the project.
  • Builds effective relationships with customers, subcontractors, suppliers, and others that reflect and support the company core values and exceeds customer expectations.
  • Provides training and mentorship to others.
  • Lead Weekly sales meeting, oversee and manage database of proposal, track company sales, report sales update to other departments.
  • Review and negotiate contracts for award projects.


Education and/or Experience

  • Degree in construction technology, business, engineering, or related field is desired, but not required.
  • 5 years of experience in masonry/Stone, stucco/EIFS, Fluid Applied WRB’s, is desired, but not required.
  • 10 years of pre-construction/estimating experience on commercial projects.
  • Experience with Onscreen software required.
  • Experience with construction drawings and specifications.
  • Strong familiarity with project estimation software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Ability to manage multitask multiple projects concurrently.
  • Ability to create professional proposals and presentations.
  • Experience with Microsoft projects (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Possess excellent negotiation and strong communications skills, verbal and written.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
