Overview:

We are seeking a highly professional, polished, and detail-oriented Executive Housekeeper to join our client's team and maintain the pristine condition of a formal, luxury home on the Gold Coast of Chicago. This role requires a "white-glove" level of service and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in high-end housekeeping and be comfortable working with fine finishes, luxury furnishings, and precious items, such as artwork. A candidate who is flexible, professional, and comfortable following specific client preferences is essential.

This is a full-time position with occasional weekend or after-hours work as needed  (likely just a few times a year). The home spans 8,000 square feet and requires consistent high-touch care to maintain its pristine condition.

Key Responsibilities:

Housekeeping and Maintenance:

• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of all areas within the home, including 3 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms
• Clean and care for high-end finishes, furniture, and artwork while maintaining a "white-glove" level of cleanliness.
• Oversee inventory management, ensuring supplies (such as water, toiletries, and other household essentials) are stocked and tracked.
• Maintain the kitchen's cleanliness, ensuring all appliances and surfaces remain spotless at all times.
• Handle laundry duties, including sorting, washing, folding/ironing, and overseeing dry cleaning processes. Knowledge regarding care of delicate fabrics is a must.
• Ensure that the home remains in impeccable condition, maintaining a top-tier standard of cleanliness throughout the property.

Additional Duties: 

• Occasionally pick up the children from school or other activities (no childcare duties, just transportation).
• Assist with meal prep, including simple but refined meals (a big plus if you have cooking experience!).
• Errands as needed.

Skills and Qualifications:

Required:

• 4 years experience in formal or high-end housekeeping roles.
• Expertise in cleaning and maintaining fine finishes and luxury home environments.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to keep track of household inventory and supplies.
• A clean driving record and a valid driver's license. Note that the hired candidate will enjoy free valet parking at the residence.
• Fluent in English, with strong communication skills for in-person, text, and email correspondence.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs, push, pull, and reach
• Professional, polished, warm, and calm demeanor, with a strong ability to work independently.
• Open to feedback and direction, willing to adapt to the family's preferences and needs.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Excellent references from past employers required.
• Must pass a background check, credit check, and maintain a clean driving record.
• Cooking experience (e.g., preparing simple meals and salads) is a huge plus! 
• Local candidates only - must be a commutable distance to the Gold Coast of Chicago. 

Compensation:

• $85,000-$95,000
• Medical/Dental/Vision: 70%
• Major Holidays off (New Year's Day, Christmas, Thanksgiving, etc.)
• 13 PTO days (including sick days)
• Discretionary bonus
• Free valet parking 

Other Information:

• No Travel is required for this position.
• Work Environment: The role is within a professional, formal household setting, focused on maintaining high service and cleanliness standards.

Salary : $85,000 - $95,000
