Full-Time Live-In Nanny for a Lovely Family in Presidio Heights
Schedule:
- Live-In: Private entrance, small kitchen, private bathroom/living room, Wi-Fi, TV, nicely appointed
- Tuesday to Saturday, 12:30 PM – 8:30 PM
- Occasional date nights or overnight stays when needed
- Travel (both domestic and international) 4 weeks each year
- Flexibility is key!
- Start Date: September 2, 2025 | Possibility of doing some travel with the family before then
- Open to all US-based candidates who are authorized to work legally in the United States.
About the Family: Our client is a young family in Presidio Heights. They are looking for a kind, experienced Live-In Nanny to join them long-term and grow with their family. They have two children, ages two and four, plus a friendly golden retriever. The parents are thoughtful and easygoing but also appreciate a high degree of professionalism when it comes to their children's safety and care.
Who They're Looking For: They're hoping to find someone who is patient, mature, energetic, and confident. Experience with young children is key, preferably being comfortable and experienced caring for more than one child at a time. A plus to be willing to help with a few Family Assistant tasks when needed. Flexibility is important, especially for the occasional evening or weekend shift or when traveling. If you're warm, calm, and can handle just about anything, this family would love to meet you!
What You'll Do:
- Care for the Kids: Your primary responsibility will be providing loving care for their two-year-old and four-year-old. This includes everything from engaging in fun and educational activities to managing meals and snacks, diaper changes, and nap/bath times.
- Planning & Activities: Help with planning age-appropriate activities to keep the kids entertained and learning, whether it's story time, creative play, or trips to the park.
- Light Housekeeping: Pitch in with light tasks like tidying up the kids' play areas and doing their laundry. Family meal prep or cooking is a plus but optional.
- Errands & Driving: Occasionally run errands for the family or drive the children to and from activities (a car will be provided).
- Travel: Be ready to join the family on trips, making sure everything goes smoothly and the kids are safe and comfortable.
The Details:
- Pay: $45-$50 per hour, depending on experience
- Benefits include a healthcare stipend, 10 paid vacation days, 5 paid sick days, and 7 paid holidays
- Discretionary bonuses are also offered
- Must be up to date on vaccinations
- Must have a valid/clean driver’s license
- Must pass a thorough background check and have excellent references
- You must be comfortable with pets (they have a friendly golden retriever)
- Must be able to run, stand, climb, bend, pull, push, and lift up to 50 pounds
Salary : $45 - $50
