Overview
A busy executive family in Atlanta, Georgia is seeking a full-time, Mandarin-speaking Nanny to join their household and play a key role in the lives of their two bright and curious daughters, ages 3 and 6. Both children are thriving in a Mandarin-immersive educational setting, and the family is eager to find someone who can help support and expand their language development in a warm, engaging, and consistent way.
The ideal candidate is nurturing, dependable, and genuinely enjoys fostering growth through play, learning, and connection. This role requires flexibility, including occasional travel and overnights, as the family leads an active lifestyle with frequent professional commitments.
Responsibilities will include planning enriching activities, supporting the children’s routines, and encouraging their curiosity through both structured and creative play. There will be times when both parents are traveling, and the Nanny will be expected to provide overnight care—additional compensation will be provided for these stays.
Fluency in Mandarin is essential, and the family hopes to find someone who is excited to build a long-term connection with their children.
- Monday-Friday; 6:45am-mid-morning; break in the day; 1:30pm-7pm
- Flexibility to work outside of that schedule when requested and when traveling

Responsibilities:
- Plan, participate in, and supervise activities with children, which may include imaginative play, arts & crafts, outdoor adventures, classes, school work, reading daily, etc.
- Play with the children and encourage active play, sports, and games, and be active.
- Drive the children to/from school and other activities, playground outings, playdates, etc.
- Research and plan activities that have substantial child developmental, social relationship skills, and educational value.
- Tend to the children’s basic needs such as providing meals/snacks, bathing, dressing, brushing teeth, and naps.
- Assist in getting the children ready for school (lay out clothes, layout warm weather gear, prepare water bottles, pack a backpack, etc.), any activities (e.g., clothes and shoes for sports, snack, water bottle, etc.), and put those things away after return from school/activities.
- The nanny should be willing to prepare simple food for the children and help tidy up after them as well.
- Travel with the family when requested.
Key Qualifications:
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin is required.
- At least 5 years of experience working as a Nanny for a private family.
- Able to keep up with two, young active children and work long hours, especially when traveling.
- Flexibility in scheduling, including availability for travel, overnight stays, and occasional weekend work.
- Ability to engage in a variety of activities, drive the children to and from activities, and assist with the daily routine.
- Clean driving record.
- Willingness to assist with light household duties and errands as needed.
- Willingness to do light meal prep for the kids.
- A valid passport for travel.
- A love for children and a passion for contributing to their development and well-being.
- Up to date on childhood vaccinations and Covid-19 vaccination preferred.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Willingness to sign an NDA and undergo a thorough background check.
- Strong references from past employers.
Compensation:
- Annual target base compensation of up to $110,000-$120,000 per year
- 10 days of paid vacation
- 6 paid holidays
- Healthcare stipend – up to $500 per month
- Overnight care stipend
- Relocation assistance for out of area candidates
