Overview
Our long-term client, a casual couple in Atherton, CA, is seeking a talented and passionate Private Chef to cook for them on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will prepare lunch and dinner for the couple, frequent guests, and other family members five days a week.
The family enjoys various cuisines; their preferences range from simple to much more complex, and they always remain focused on healthy, local, organic foods. They appreciate a variety of cuisines-American, French, Asian, Mediterranean, etc.
VIP: Chefs interested in this position must have a "food is medicine" mindset and significant experience cooking healthy foods for people affected by cancer.

Preparing authentic Texas BBQ brings you as much joy as putting out a trendy 7-course dinner.
Your culinary career has taken you around the world, and you've picked up a wealth of tricks along the way; you've spent time in the best restaurants and know how to efficiently execute small, intimate dinners and significantly larger events with ease. Your many years of experience serving prominent families have helped to hone your ability to work in a thoughtful and refined fashion; you understand the importance of professional boundaries and have a service heart. You have a phenomenal work ethic and enjoy a job well done!

- 5 days per week: Wednesday & Thursday off. Flexibility Required
- 10:30 am-8:30 pm: Flexibility Required
- Travel: (6-8 weeks during the summer and several additional weeks throughout the year)

Primary Responsibilities:
- Preparing interesting and healthy meals daily
- Light entertaining
- Travel to other homes
- Grocery shopping for all food items
- Leave healthy snacks in the refrigerator
- Organize and manage the kitchen/food pantry
- Kitchen sanitation/organization
- Shopping for household supplies
- Preparing breakfast when traveling with the family
Applicant Requirements:
- Must have significant experience cooking healthy foods for people affected by cancer.
- Must be COVID vaccinated and boosted
- Must be discreet, organized, and sensitive to client's needs
- Should be flexible-schedules change at a moment's notice
- Must have recent luxury restaurant & full-time private chef experience
- Longevity in past positions
- Able to work legally in the United States
- Must be able to pass an in-depth background investigation
- Must be able to accommodate the needs of the family willingly
Compensation:
- 160K | DOE
- Health insurance-100%
- 10 days paid vacation

We are searching for candidates who have worked as a Personal | Private Chef for at least a couple of years. High-profile restaurant experience is also essential to our clients.
