Overview
Our NYC-based client is looking for a health-focused Private Chef with expertise in vegetarian, gluten-free, and dairy-free cuisine. They prioritize seasonal, high-quality ingredients and enjoy bold, globally inspired flavors. The Chef will be responsible for preparing lunch and dinner daily, along with some breakfast and snack prep. We’re seeking a true expert in creative, plant-based cuisine! That said, the client frequently hosts guests who eat meat and fish, so flexibility in preparing a range of dishes is essential.
Schedule & Start Date
- Schedule: Primarily Monday–Friday, with some flexibility as needed
- Start Date: ASAP
Responsibilities
- Plan and prepare health-conscious, plant-based meals
- Adhere to dietary restrictions
- Handle grocery shopping and kitchen organization
- Maintain a clean and efficient kitchen
- Occasionally assist with dinner service
- Prepare snacks and additional food for the weekends
Qualifications
- 7 years of experience in both private service and high-end restaurants
- Must be local to NYC – no exceptions!
- Adaptable to client schedules and preferences
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Able to pass a background check
- Passport for potential travel
Compensation & Benefits
- $150,000 per year | DOE
