What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part time law office assistant/Receptionist position at DM&L?
Part time back up Receptionist and office assistant position. Hours are 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM Monday thru Friday. Occasional extra hours needed to fill in for vacations.
Assist receptionist in answering multi-line telephone system and direct callers to appropriate people.
Greet clients and visitors to the firm in a professional and courteous manner.
Provide overflow support to legal assistants.
Document scanning and filing.
Qualified candidate should have:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
A can-do attitude.
Strong organization skills with the ability to multi-task.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while remaining calm
Proficiency in using a computer for data entry, creating documents and e-mail.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
Law firm experience is preferred.
Professional services experience is preferred.
