The Manager, Practice Development will be responsible for driving the expansion and sale of DMA’s services in the designated region as directed by DMA’s regional Practice Director.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Perform business development activities that lead to profitable revenue and market share growth for assigned territory
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities with prospects and expand relationships with current clients
- Participate in sales meetings and collaborate as part of the sales process
- Work with service team to ensure quality client satisfaction
- Update and maintain information in OMS (Opportunity Management System)
- Report territory activity to manager
- Create and maintain monthly forecast reports
- Assist DMA in coordinating outside legal counsel as necessary in providing tax services
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 1-3 years of professional inside sales experience required; experience in a related industry preferred (Property Tax, Commercial Brokerage, Mortgage or Title Industry, Property Management, or similar)
- Self-motivated to meet established sales quotas
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent skill-set related to research & organization
- Persuasive communication style and initiative to follow-up with prospects through closure
- Knowledge of Windows platform and Microsoft programs required
- Ability to travel approximately 15% required
