Part time, initially in-person

Part-time freelance marketing assistant to manage and produce engaging photo and video content for an artist/author’s social accounts

About the Job

Highly successful Fine Artist and published book author seeking a creative, self-driven social media assistant to build my online presence by creating engaging content across digital platforms. The ideal candidate is passionate about the creative field, enthusiastic about content creation, and able to work both directly with me and independently. This position has significant potential for growth and additional projects in the future.

Qualifications

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Proven experience and strong interest in social media management and marketing

- Proficient in creating social content, particularly creating and editing TikToks, Instagram posts/stories/reels, and other content for relevant social platforms

- Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, and other graphic design software is a plus

- Initially able to work in-person at my Nyack studio, some remote work may be developed

Responsibilities

- Work with owner to conceptualize and develop innovative content to build social profile across networks (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn)

- Manage social media accounts, ensuring consistent brand messaging and timely responses, keeping in mind current and upcoming events and news

- Edit content across a variety of mediums, including photo, video, graphics, etc.
