Responsibilities :
Everything under Engineering Level II is in addition to Engineering Level I.
Engineer Level I (0-3 years relevant experience)
Programs applications in accordance with DMC programming standards & best practices to meet & exceed customer requirementsCommissions solutions at customer sites (travel locally / nationally / internationally when needed), including troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systemsCommunicates with team members and clientsWorks with most industrial PLC / HMI / SCADA platforms (e.g. Siemens, Rockwell, Ignition, etc.)Continuously learns (with guidance) pertinent technologies for their projectsDocuments and delivers solutions to clientsSupports project planning and system architecture designGains knowledge within sales, business development, and project processesEngineer Level II (3-5 years relevant experience)
Performs programming and engineering tasks in supportive and leading roles at all stages of projectsMentors and technically advises new team membersConveys deliverables to customers through a variety communication methodsDevelops & maintains relationships with key contacts, vendors, and clientsWrites project proposalsSeeks, identifies, and discusses new opportunities with new & existing clientsRequirements :

Located in Houston, TX (or willing to relocate)Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering or related fieldMinimum GPA of 3.4Programming; including text-based languages and object-oriented conceptsQuickly learns new technologiesAbility to follow patterns & build upon establish modelsUnderstands complex system designsAbility to manage time amongst multiple projectsStrong written / oral communication and technical writing skillsTravel to customer manufacturing sites for commissioning solutions, including troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems. Please note that 25-50% travel is required for this position, but there is the option to travel more for those interested in seeing the world!
