Job Description:

Manufacturing Headquarters is in Los Angeles, CA and Olive Branch, MS with numerous Service Center locations nationally and internationally. We are looking for an aggressive, organized and self-motivated technical field representative from Hartford, CT or surrounding areas. Territory coverage will include the greater northeastern states. Must be prepared to be very active with some overnight travel. This position will require you to periodically roll up your sleeves, and get your hands dirty, as you provide training and product demonstrations at outdoor job sites. At the same time, you will enjoy some “downtime” with clients while building relationships. This is a great opportunity for an entry level sales person or person with HVAC, Pluming, mechanic or other Trade experience looking for a new career.

Responsibilities:
- Numerous daily visits to outdoor job sites, customers, prospects and trade shows to demonstrate our hydraulic swage system.
- Support job site hydraulic swage system’s needs.
- Support sales team at presentations with customers.
- Build strong relationships with our customers on the job sites.
- Train customers on how to operate and maintain our tools.
- Responsible for maintaining and tracking local connector inventories.
- Create revenue with tool repair recommendations, tooling sales as needed, tooling rentals as needed, connector sales as needed and looking for all product opportunities on job sites.
- Work with local Sales Managers on business development at contractors.
Requirements:
- One year certificate from college or technical school; or two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of tooling/hydraulics strongly preferred.
- Must be able to work remotely.
- Must be a road warrior with a clean driving record.
- Construction/contractor experience preferred.
- Knowledge of power/utility industry and/or substation projects helpful but not required.
- Exceptional customer service skills required.
