What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Nurse Leader position at DMC Primary Care?
DMC Primary Care seeks an experienced nurse leader to join our team as Clinical Nurse Leader. We offer a fast paced, supportive team environment.
The successful candidate will be a registered nurse (RN) with strong clinical and management skills with the ability to work well with diverse personalities. In-depth knowledge of and experience in a family medicine practice is strongly preferred. The clinical nurse leader is responsible for clinical team leadership, education, and communication throughout the practice. Candidate must be able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
This full-time position is for our Dover, Londonderry, Raymond, and Windham primary care clinics, with travel to each of these clinics on a regular basis.
Primary duties include:
- Coordinating and overseeing onboarding and training of newly hired clinical staff
- Developing staff clinical competencies, and providing ongoing education to staff
- Managing vaccine inventory
- Maintaining regulatory agency requirements for clinical practices
- Participating in recruitment and selection of nursing staff
- Providing direct oversight & management of assigned nursing staff
- Providing high-quality nursing care when needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing is required
- Candidates must hold a current State of New Hampshire nurse’s license
- Must have nursing leadership and management experience
- 5-7 years’ previous acute care or ambulatory care experience required
- Primary care experience is strongly preferred
