Derry Imaging Center, an independently owned and operated practice, is American College Radiology (ACR) accredited in Mammography, Ultrasound, Nuclear medicine, MRI and CT Imaging, and has onsite fellowship-trained radiologists. WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING TO THE POSITION?
- A great attitude and the ability togreet each patient as a valued member of the family - even when stressed
- A strongability to multitask, and establish priorities in a fast-paced environment
- The capability to manage time effectively while always treating patients with empathy
- Above average organizational and interpersonal skills; a team-oriented mindset
- Strong communicationand customer service skills
- Experiencein the use of computers including Microsoft Excel & Word
- Demonstration of ethical and professional conduct, including the ability to maintain confidentiality (HIPAA)
- High school diploma required
- At least 2 years’ experience in a medical office preferred
- Radiology scheduling experience strongly preferred
- Basic medical terminology and insurance knowledge preferred
- Skilled in the use of computers and related software applications; excellent typing skills
- Detailed oriented, ability to multi-task with constant interruption required
- Above average organizational and interpersonal skills
- Demonstration of ethical and professional conduct, including the ability to maintain confidentiality (HIPAA)
