The Role
This role is ideal for someone with a background in architecture, construction, or sales who is skilled at engaging with the architectural and design community. You will be responsible for driving specifications, building strong relationships with architects and commercial design professionals, and ensuring our client’s products are incorporated into high-profile projects.
What You’ll Do
- Identify, engage, and build relationships with architectural firms to drive specifications and product adoption.
- Deliver compelling presentations, including AIA-accredited Continuing Education learning units.
- Provide technical guidance and solutions on project opportunities.
- Work closely with facility managers and institutional property owners to generate new business.
- Collaborate with regional sales teams and channel partners to develop strategies and improve expertise.
- Organize and lead factory tours, fostering engagement with key architects, designers, and trade professionals.
- Travel extensively within the territory, including overnight stays as needed.
- A degree in architecture, construction, or a business-related field (or equivalent industry experience).
- Experience in consultative, value-based sales, preferably within fenestration or high-end building materials.
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents and specifications.
- Familiarity with CAD-based design tools.
- A Construction Documents Technologist (CDT) certification is preferred (or willingness to obtain within two years).
- A valid driver’s license with a strong driving record.
- Ability to periodically lift up to 50 lbs.
- Base salary up to $100,000 25% performance-based bonus.
