Basic Function and Scope of Responsibilities:

The Business Development Representative will support our growth efforts by identifying new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and assisting with the implementation of business development initiatives. This role is ideal for someone with a foundational sales experience, a drive to succeed, and a keen interest in the accounting and financial services industry.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation and Qualification: Identify potential new clients through research, networking, conferences & seminars, and outreach activities, Cold calling and site visits. Qualify leads based on the firms service offerings and client strategy.
  • Client Engagement: Assist in developing and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and superior client service.
  • Marketing Support: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop materials and strategies that support business development goals, including presentations, proposals, and social media content.
  • Market Research: Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats, providing actionable insights to the team.
  • Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and client interactions, and report progress to senior management on a regular basis.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, preferably in the accounting or financial services sector.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and team members.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
  • A passion for helping Business Owners and Entrepreneurs
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
