Basic Function and Scope of Responsibilities :

The Senior Business Development Associate will play a key role in driving the firms business growth by identifying new opportunities, enhancing client relationships, and contributing to strategic planning initiatives. This position requires a proactive approach, excellent communication skills, and a strong background in sales and client services within the financial sector.

Principal Responsibilities :

  • Client Acquisition and Retention : Develop and execute strategies to attract new clients while maintaining high satisfaction levels with existing clients, ensuring repeat business and referrals.
  • Market Analysis : Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends and opportunities in the financial services sector. Utilize insights to develop targeted strategies that align with the firm's goals.
  • Networking and Relationship Building : Leverage existing networks and participate in industry events in Atlanta and beyond to forge new relationships with potential clients and partners.
  • Proposal Development : Craft compelling proposals and presentations that clearly communicate DMG CPAs value proposition to prospective clients.
  • Team Collaboration : Work closely with other departments to ensure that client needs are met and to align business development activities with overall firm strategies.
  • Performance Metrics : Meet and strive to exceed annual sales targets established by leadership, providing regular updates and reports on progress.

Minimum Requirements :

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in business or accounting (e.g., MBA, CPA) are highly regarded.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in business development or sales, specifically within the accounting or financial services industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and effectively managing client relationships.
  • Strong interpersonal and networking skills, with the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • A passion for helping Business Owners and Entrepreneurs
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
