Job Introduction
DailyMail.com is seeking an experienced features writer to join the newly constituted Mail team in our New York City office. This is an in-office position and a 9-hour shift Monday to Friday but applicants must be willing to work flexible hours and shifts as news arises.
Your responsibilities will include :
- Speedily writing 1000-1400 word articles (subject matters will cover celebrity, crime, health, politics and other news-driven topics)
- Regularly pitching exposés, interviews and traditional feature ideas
- Working with photo editors to compose images to illustrate articles
- Building articles in a content management system
