What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intern - Data Analyst - Summer 2025 position at DMI Companies?
Assist the Lean Engineering team by gathering data, analyzing historical data and creating flow charts and project plans to uncover insights not found in daily reporting. The Data Analyst Intern will be given the opportunity to add value in projects assigned and will be encouraged to contribute ideas and suggestions.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Learn how to uncover the fundamental principals of a process
- Use process improvement methodologies and cross-departmental collaboration to initiate and manage a project including creating documentation and maintaining communication to the entire team.
- Be trained in how to gather data and then generate and explain reports to stakeholders.
- Develop a plan to document information and determine the best method to gather the information needed.
- Gain knowledge of the importance of how networking / project management effects the success of data gathering.
