About the Opportunity
DMI, LLC is seeking a Business Impact Analysis Manager to join us. You will be responsible for leading the process of identifying critical business functions, assessing the potential impact of disruptions on those functions, and developing recovery strategies to minimize operational disruption by identifying dependencies, prioritizing critical systems, and establishing recovery time objectives (RTO) and recovery point objectives (RPO) to ensure business continuity in the event of an incident.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Facilitating meetings with stakeholders from various groups to gather information about their critical business functions, processes, and dependencies.
- Determining which business processes are essential for the organization's continued operations.
- Evaluating the potential consequences of disruptions to critical business processes, including financial impact, reputational damage, and regulatory compliance risks.
- Establishing the maximum acceptable time to restore a business function after a disruption (RTO).
- Determining the maximum allowable data loss in the event of a disruption (RPO).
- Identifying the most critical business functions and developing recovery strategies to prioritize their restoration.
- Collaborating with relevant groups to create comprehensive business continuity plans based on the BIA findings.
- Identifying potential risks that could impact business operations and recommending mitigation strategies.
- Analyzing BIA data to generate reports and presentations for management highlighting critical areas and recovery priorities.
- Regularly review and update BIA documentation to reflect changes in business operations and risk landscape.
