About the Opportunity
DMI, LLC is seeking a Selenium Test Engineer to join us. The Selenium Test Engineer will be responsible for automating new and existing test scripts, executing test scripts, documenting defects, and tracking defects to closure.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Establish test automation processes and participate in evaluating / planning the automation roadmap.
- Maintain and update Selenium WebDriver scripts.
- Design, develop, and implement a scalable test automation framework and strategy using Selenium WebDriver.
- Create test strategy, test plans, and test cases for projects managed through an Agile development methodology.
- Develop and maintain methods and libraries needed to rapidly grow and scale automation suite.
- Develop and / or update scripts for Web Services and Rest Services.
- Develop and / or update scripts on web applications, web services, and mobile applications.
- Review and analyze system requirements, specifications, user documentation, help files, and other project documentation to ensure quality of the products and test to be developed.
- Ensure proper version control and configuration management of all test cases developed and test environments used.
- Develop and maintain good professional working relationships with team members and client personnel.
- Execute test cases, and document and analyze results.
- Identify, document, and report defects to software engineers.
- Assist software engineers with troubleshooting defects.
- Track defects to closure.
- Conduct post-release / post-implementation smoke testing.
- Work with the project team in support of creating and presenting customer briefings.
