About the Opportunity
DMI, LLC is seeking a Senior Business Process Advisor to join us to support federal project.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Business Process Strategy & Optimization
Analyze and refine grant management workflows to enhance efficiency, compliance, and transparency.
- Identify gaps, redundancies, and inefficiencies in the grant application, award, monitoring, and closeout processes.
- Develop and advise IT deliver leads on process automation strategies to reduce manual interventions and enhance system responsiveness.
- Ensure IT solutions align with public health funding policies, federal grant regulations, and agency priorities.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
Act as a liaison between bureau offices, IT teams, and federal grant offices / stakeholders, ensuring seamless process integration.
Facilitate working groups with program offices and IT delivery teams to define business requirements for system enhancements.Work closely with grant applicants, recipients, and agency officials to enhance the user experience of electronic grants management systems (e.g., EHBs).Advocate for process improvements based on feedback from grantors, grantees, and system users.Data Analysis & Performance MeasurementEstablish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assess grant system efficiency and compliance.
Conduct trend analysis on grant processing times, system performance, and user adoption rates.Identify and implement data-driven improvements to enhance system reporting, audit readiness, and decision-making.Change Management & Continuous ImprovementAdvise IT delivery leads on change management strategies related to system upgrades, process enhancements, and new policy implementations.
Implement continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) to enhance system usability and reduce administrative burden.Technology Enablement & Digital TransformationEvaluate and recommend technology solutions to improve grant lifecycle management, including workflow automation, AI-driven analytics, and cloud-based platforms.
Advise IT teams on defining functional requirements for system enhancements that improve grantee experience, program oversight, and compliance monitoring.Qualifications
Education and Years of Experience :
20 years of Experience in this roleBachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or other related discipline. Master's degree and / or project management ProfessionalRequired and Desired Skills / Certifications :
At least 20 years of experience in program or project management with a minimum 5 years healthcare project management experience.Strong leadership aptitude to foster a positive work environment that considers the dynamics of physical, social, psychological, and environmental factorsStrong interpersonal skills to build client rapport and develop / discipline / reward employeesSolid analytical skills and ability to make decisions and solve problemsExcellent time management abilitiesDemonstrated problem-solving and customer service skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and manage work to a defined scheduleExperience conducting meetings, interviews and making presentationsSpecific experience in evaluating quality assurance / quality control testing and User Acceptance Testing effortsTeam player and a consistent, dependable performer with an excellent work ethic, flexible "can-do" attitude, and a results-driven commitment to successAbility to apply industry best practices and future state / federal mandates to existing systemsMin Citizenship Status Required : Must be a U.S. Citizen
