About the Opportunity

DMI, LLC is seeking a Data Modeler to join us. The Data Modeler shall must have experience gathering and analyzing system requirements, be knowledgeable of data mining and segmentation techniques and be proficient in MS Excel and familiar with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, D3.js, and R). He/she must have expertise in SQL and Oracle and proven analytical and Problem-solving skills and aptitude.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Determine data requirements from established methodology documentation.
• Validate data source volume, velocity, and volatility.
• Determine the present configuration of existing registries and shall perform duties related to the redesign or perform new development of these registries.
• Design and optimize existing coding to identify and relate the patient cohort to the individual record.
• Conduct peer review for existing or new code/logic and provide validation for the code.
• Tests proof(s) of concept with database administrators and other registry branch peers.
• Perform user integration testing with registry owner/functional personnel and other subject matter experts.
• Provide SQL coding and quality assurance for existing SQL code.
• Provide for SQL optimization for MHS source systems relating to existing queries.

Qualifications

Education and Years of Experience:

• must have bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or relevant field,
• a minimum of 2-5 years' experience in a similar role,
• proven work experience as a Data Architect, Data Scientist, Data Analyst or similar role,
• an in-depth understanding of database structure principles.

Additional Requirements:

• Must have Secret Clearance and Sec
