Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and experienced AWS AppStream Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS AppStream and be capable of managing, configuring, and optimizing AppStream solutions. This role requires expertise in cloud infrastructure, application streaming, and delivering seamless application delivery experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage AWS AppStream 2.0 solutions to deliver applications to end-users.
- Provide expertise on AWS cloud technologies, focusing on AppStream for delivering virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve performance, scalability, and usability issues related to AppStream.
- Ensure proper integration of AWS AppStream with other AWS services like Amazon S3, EC2, and IAM for seamless operations.
- Perform troubleshooting and optimization to improve performance, reduce latency, and enhance user experience.
- Maintain security best practices within AWS AppStream environment, including user access controls and encryption of data in transit and at rest.
- Stay up to date with the latest developments in AWS AppStream and related AWS technologies to ensure optimal solution deployment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience working with AWS AppStream 2.0 and related AWS services.
- Strong knowledge of AWS architecture and deployment models.
- Experience with VDI solutions and managing virtual applications.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services like S3, EC2, IAM, Lambda, and CloudWatch.
- Proficient in scripting and automation using tools like Python, AWS CLI, or CloudFormation.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and performance tuning skills.
- Experience with user access management, security controls, and compliance frameworks.
- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional) are a plus.
Desired Skills:
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
