Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Financial Fusion DBA to manage and optimize our Oracle Financials Fusion environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the administration, performance tuning, backup, recovery, and security of the databases supporting our financial applications. This position requires experience with Oracle Financials, Fusion applications, and deep knowledge of database administration best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain Oracle Financial Fusion applications and databases to ensure high performance, reliability, and availability.
- Perform database installations, upgrades, patches, and configuration for Oracle Financial applications (e.g., Oracle Financials Cloud, Oracle Fusion ERP, EPM, SCM).
- Monitor and optimize database performance for the Oracle Financial Fusion suite.
- Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes for Oracle Financial databases.
- Implement database security policies and procedures to protect financial data.
- Collaborate with development and functional teams to support application upgrades, migrations, and patching of Oracle Financial Fusion.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues and support day-to-day operations of financial applications.
- Ensure database and application compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
- Provide database performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting for the Oracle Financial environment.
- Prepare and maintain detailed database documentation, including configuration settings, disaster recovery plans, and other procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Oracle Database Administrator with expertise in Oracle Financial Fusion or Oracle Financials applications.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Database 12c or later versions, including Oracle Exadata and RAC.
- Experience with Oracle Financials Cloud, Fusion Applications, or ERP, EPM, SCM modules.
- Strong understanding of database security, backup/recovery, performance tuning, and high-availability techniques.
- Experience in troubleshooting, query optimization, and database performance monitoring.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Perl, Python) for automation and maintenance tasks.
- Experience with Oracle Data Guard, GoldenGate, or other replication and data protection technologies.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
- Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or equivalent certifications are a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with cloud-based Oracle Financial solutions (e.g., Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Oracle Fusion Cloud).
- Familiarity with Oracle Applications (e.g., Oracle R12, Fusion Middleware).
- Knowledge of Oracle WebLogic Server and Java-based applications.
