DMJ is currently seeking a highly motivated individual with exceptional communication skills and an unmatched attention to detail to join our team as a Terminal Manager. Terminal managers are eligible for full benefits including health insurance, dental, vision and life insurance. Applicants must be available to work between the hours of 6 AM and 6 PM Monday through Friday. Applicants must also be willing to work at any of our locations; Mount Pleasant, Greensburg Salem, Hempfield, and Latrobe.

OVERALL OBJECTIVE OF JOB:
To direct, plan and organize daily operations in relation to quality, safety, maintenance, and overall customer service
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF JOB:
1. Supervise all drivers, monitors, dispatchers, and daily operations in accordance with company policies and procedures
2. Investigate and resolve issues involving district and parent complaints
3. Investigate and resolve employee requests, concerns, and complaints
4. Maintain records and prepare required reports relevant to the operations of the transportation department and deliver reports in a timely manner
5. Maintain on-going, pro-active communications with employees and school district personnel
6. Facilitate cooperation among employees, school district personnel, students, parents, municipality, and law enforcement personnel consistent with company goals
7. Manage use of information technology for the terminal including computerized student transportation systems and applications
8. Advise the Superintendents or designees as to operation of the fleet when weather, road conditions, or other safety related concerns are in question
9. Advise the Superintendents or designees on the strengths, weaknesses, and potential problems of various aspects of transportation operations and suggest alternatives for improvements
10. Dispatch daily operations including scheduling, answering phone, routing new students, etc.
11. Organize and supervise the necessary fleet operations and maintenance tasks
12. Oversee purchasing in accordance with established policies and procedures
13. Maintain adequate inventory levels within terminal (seats, EZ Pass, office supplies, etc.)
14. Serves as a driver or monitor when all other options are exhausted
Manger hired will be required to obtain their Class B CDL with school bus and passenger endorsements within the first 60 days of employment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
