What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Auditor position at DMLO CPAs?
DMLO CPAs is seeking an Audit Senior to join our New Albany (IN) office. This position offers outstanding potential for growth and the opportunity to work with clients of various sizes, stages and industries throughout the region.
As an Audit Senior, your responsibilities will include:
- Performing and completing field work, including preparation of work papers for a variety of financial statement engagements
- Providing analysis of account balances and documenting findings
- Assisting in drafting reports including footnotes
- Supporting training of staff members, offering guidance and direction
- Working with clients in gaining an understanding of their business to apply the appropriate accounting and auditing standards in the preparation of work papers
- Conducting research on technical accounting issues
- Developing external relationships and building a network of peers
What do we look for?
- 2 years audit experience in a public accounting firm
- Accounting degree (4 year)
- CPA license preferred, but not required
- Well-rounded knowledge of accounting principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Integrity and strong work ethic
- Timely and accurate with close attention to detail
- Ability to balance multiple priorities well
