QC Coordinator - 2nd Shift, Monday - Friday
Position Overview: The Quality Control Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that all work orders/projects/jobs meet job specifications while adhering to company/client quality standards. This 2nd shift position assists with supervising the training and overall quality initiatives for the company.
Duties / Responsibilities
- Oversee inspection and quality throughout the entire production cycle
- Assist in setting up print work orders and insert machines, according to order specifications
- Verify all materials upon production starting
- Ensure accurate data shows through envelope windows
- Establish quality of finished product
- Interact with Production Managers on issues related to quality
- Develop and/or adapt quality and inspection equipment to meet quality control standards
- Recommend improvements for procedures, standards and equipment to facilitate work and maintain product quality
- Coordinate monthly internal audits: gather data, create action plans, and generate solutions
- Assist with developing training programs
- Investigate and determine cause of faulty work
- Conduct random quality control checks, following company guidelines/standards
- Provide employees with guidance with complex problems, or in resolving escalated quality issues and complaints
- Ensure correct materials are being utilized specific to the job
- Ensure inventory is met to meet job specifications
- Coordinate with Client Services with orders, stock, inventory, and supplies for jobs
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned to help DMM Direct attain its goals.

Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- 3 years of relevant quality control experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient computer skills and aptitude.
- Knowledge of postal rates and regulations is desirable.
- Intermediate PC skills (Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word preferred).
