What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Payable position at DMOS?
We are hiring an Accounts Payable individual! You will be responsible for processing daily accounting activities related to accounts payable processes and cash management. In addition to assisting with day-to-day activities related to accounts payable, you will have the opportunity to assist with other accounting duties as necessary. This position is a full-time opportunity at our West Des Moines office (Monday - Friday; 8AM-5PM).

Do I want this job? You will review invoices for accuracy and price discrepancies.You will properly code invoices and credit card expenses to the appropriate GL accounts and prepare batches for payment. You have the ability to learn new skills and take the initiative to help support the team. You have effective communication skills to gather information from physicians and staff. You will work in a place that expects outstanding experiences; we do this by working hard to assume the best and being curious with all around us. You will be naturally curious, friendly, and helpful.
Can I do this job? You must be able to be sit at a desk for an extended period of time that may seem unnatural. You have accounts payable experience OR an associate’s degree in accounting. Experience with an accounting software to code multiple cost centers, such as Sage Intacct or Great Plains is a plus. You can think on your feet with the ability to research and problem-solve as necessary. You have great communication skills both verbally and written. A quick learner that is process driven. You are a team player that can jump in and help where needed.
