What are the responsibilities and job description for the Radiology Technologist - Interventional Physiatry / Spine position at DMOS?
As our Radiology Tech in the Interventional Physiatry / Spine department at our West Des Moines office, you’ll help our patients get back to living by supporting our physicians by operating a C-Arm in fluoro-guided injections for arthograms and epidural spine injections. You will also assist with EMG/NCV studies. This full-time position is scheduled Monday - Friday 7:45AM-4:30PM (or until the last patient leaves). Every day you will work alongside our clinical providers to create a comfortable patient experience, ensuring everyone is properly cared for and offering another step in their journey to healing. To thrive in this role, you must have a Permit to Practice in the state of Iowa and care about the wellbeing of every patient you see.
Here’s What You Can Expect
- You’ll be on your feet most of the day preparing patients for their procedure before operating the C-Arm to capture high-quality images for the Physician during in-office procedures.
- You will work along side of Physicians in clinic, assisting with positioning the C-Arm for fluoro-guided injections and/or EMG/NCV studies. This is a private practice where you’ll have access to ask questions of the care team if you need any clarification.

What We’re Looking For
- AART certification in Radiology and permit to practice in the state of Iowa.
- Ability to learn or perform specialized diagnostic skills using provided tools.
- You know how to communicate calmly and provide reassurance when patients are nervous. You know how important it is to listen and ask questions when appropriate.
