Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Survey Manager to lead our surveying team in executing various projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in surveying principles and practices, with proficiency in modern surveying technologies. As the Survey Manager, you will oversee survey operations, ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations, and collaborate with engineering teams to deliver high-quality results.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate all surveying activities, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
- Conduct field surveys using advanced equipment including 3D scanners and traditional surveying tools.
- Analyze survey data and prepare detailed reports, schematics, and maps for project stakeholders.
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to integrate survey data into design plans using software such as AutoCAD, Carlson, Civil 3D, and MicroStation.
- Train and mentor junior survey staff on best practices and technical skills.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards throughout all surveying operations.
- Maintain accurate records of surveys conducted and manage project documentation effectively.
Experience
- Licensed Professional Surveyor in the state of Washington Required.
- Proven experience in land surveying or a related field is essential.
- Strong mathematical skills including proficiency in Geometry and Algebra for accurate calculations.
- Familiarity with Civil 3D.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail are critical for success in this role.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
