What are the responsibilities and job description for the 3rd Shift Box Builder position at DMS Facility Services?
DMS Facility Services is currently searching for a Utility Box Building Worker to be added to our team.
Under the direction of the Facility Supervisor the Utility Box Building Worker will follow the company’s box building process. Box building consists of combining corrugated boxes with wood pallets using a pneumatic stapler. Boxes are then transported to various locations throughout the warehouse for shipping. Perform various duties, emptying dumpsters and sorters in the building. 5S of all box building areas.
Schedule: Sunday-Thursday
3rd Shift: 10pm to 6:30am
Pay Rate: $20.00/ 3rd Shift
Utility Box Building Worker Responsibilities:
- Operate power tools and pneumatic tools.
- Must be able to operate box building machine. Some mechanical knowledge required.
- Operate various forklifts and utility carts.
- Lift, carry, and move dumpsters and equipment using moving equipment as well as manually.
- Perform cleaning activities such as dusting, mopping, cleaning restrooms and office area.
- Support all environmental, Health and Safety programs, policies, and regulations.
- Combine corrugated boxes with wood pallets using a pneumatic stapler gun.
- Transport and build boxes /pallets to various locations throughout the warehouse.
Utility Box Building Worker Requirements:
· Must be able to pass and background check and drug screening.
· 1 year of Forklift Experience
· Mechanical Knowledge is preferred.
