Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Shift Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, and team management. Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations in the warehouse or distribution center
- Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock counts
- Implement and maintain OSHA standards for safety and compliance
- Lead a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance and support
- Coordinate with third-party logistics (3PL) partners for efficient operations
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track shipments and orders
- Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity
- Handle materials handling equipment and ensure proper maintenance
Experience:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment
- Proven track record in inventory management and warehouse operations
- Familiarity with mechanical systems and equipment
- Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a team effectively
- Experience in implementing process improvement strategies
