Job Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analyzing business systems and user needs, formulating systems to align with business strategies, and possessing a wide degree of creativity and latitude in their approach to problem-solving.
- Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs.
- Formulate systems that parallel overall business strategies, utilizing expertise in business process reengineering.
- Prepare detailed functional and technical specifications for reporting and data warehouse projects.
- Assist with business intelligence support and enhancements.
- Develop Request for Proposals (RFPs) and assist in the deployment and management of end-user reporting tools.
- Document and provide knowledge transfer to the Enterprise Reporting Team for all implemented solutions.
- Work with IT and business project teams to understand reporting and data warehousing requirements and propose solutions.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience with industry-standard technologies, business process mapping, and reengineering.
- Knowledge of relational database concepts and client-server concepts.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with financial analyses such as cost/benefit and ROI.
- Ability to independently plan and execute complicated tasks.
- Proficiency in documenting user needs, program functions, and development steps.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Located in the specified area with the ability to work remotely as needed.
- Experience in managing and supporting end-user reporting tools and platforms.
