Job Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager with a strong background in managing large software projects, particularly in CI/CD platforms such as SonarQube. This role is crucial for driving projects forward by managing timelines, priorities, risks, and technical issues while maintaining constant communication with teams, vendors, and management. The successful candidate will be responsible for the enterprise rollout of SonarQube, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and meet high standards of quality and effectiveness.
- Drive project timelines, manage priorities, and handle risks and issues efficiently.
- Create and communicate detailed management plans, reports, and processes.
- Define project responsibilities clearly with stakeholders and participate in resource planning and allocation.
- Analyze and develop procedures for management and technical duties.
- Maintain regular communication with all project participants, ensuring clarity on expectations, deadlines, and action items.
Qualifications:
- 9 years of experience as a Project Manager running large software projects.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Proficient in project management tools and analytical, computer, and math skills.
- Moderate understanding of CI/CD platforms, preferably with experience in SonarQube Scanning.
- Preferred experience using Jira and team building skills across multiple locations.
Working Conditions:
- Hybrid work model requiring 2 days per week in the Princeton office.
- Working hours: Eastern Time, 9-5.
Interview Process:
- First round via video call.
- Second round preferably in-person in Princeton or via video call if location is prohibitive.
Contract Duration:
- Contract position until 2025, with a potential 6-month extension into 2026.
Day-to-Day Activities:
- Conduct morning standups with DevOps team members.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, take notes, and set action items with platform teams.
- Create and maintain documentation for the project.
- Ensure compliance with project timelines and deliverables.
