Job Overview:
We are seeking a Performance Test Engineer with 2-5 years of dedicated performance testing experience. This role is crucial for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our enterprise software applications, websites, mobile apps, and other software interfaces. The successful candidate will design, develop, and execute automated performance, load, and stress test cases, collaborating with QA teams, Development Engineering, and Product Marketing to develop comprehensive test strategies.
- Design and develop automated test strategies for performance, load, and stress testing.
- Execute test cases and manage test activities according to project plans and schedules.
- Interact with QA test team members, Development Engineering, and Product Marketing to ensure effective test coverage.
- Utilize performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or LRE.
- Monitor performance using tools like DynaTrace and manage defects through tracking systems.
- Mentor and collaborate with other testers on test procedures, processes, and best practices.
Required Skills:
- True Performance Testing experience with a focus on software and system performance, including load, stress, and spike testing.
- Strong experience with Performance Testing Life Cycle.
- Proficiency in performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or LRE.
- Familiarity with Github and performance monitoring tools (DynaTrace preferred).
- Experience with Batch Jobs and testing applications on web-based, client/server, and mobile platforms.
Preferred Experience:
- SAP experience, specifically SAP S4.
- Experience with test automation tools like Selenium, Cucumber, Cypress, TestNG, Playwright, UFT/QTP, TestComplete.
- Experience working with JIRA and Confluence.
