Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Programmer 5 to enhance and maintain the Remediation Information Data Exchange (RIDE) application used by the Remediation and Redevelopment Division (RRD). This role involves advanced development skills in SQL, C#.NET, and Angular, among other technologies. The ideal candidate will ensure that RIDE effectively supports the exchange of data related to contaminated properties and serves as a portal for RRD's regulated community engagements.
Requirements
- Develop and maintain RIDE, ensuring it supports electronic document submissions and hosts RRD's Inventory of Facilities.
- Implement advanced database scripts, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and SSIS packages using SQL.
- Utilize .NET technologies including C#.NET, VB.NET, and ASP.NET to build robust solutions.
- Engage in full-stack web development, applying knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Angular.
- Conduct unit, system, regression, and automated testing to ensure product quality meets client expectations.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships through teamwork and provide quality customer service.
- Use development tools such as MS Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server/GIT, and MS SharePoint effectively.
- Remain compliant with ADA standards and contribute to the development of Progressive Web Applications.
Required Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience with .NET Core (C#).
- Strong experience with front-end technologies such as Angular and TypeScript.
- Experience developing Progressive Web applications.
- Proficiency in using MS Office suite and familiarity with MS SharePoint.
- Strong skills in software testing and quality assurance practices.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with MVC architecture.
- Knowledge of environmental or government regulatory systems is a plus.
