Job PurposeWe are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Business Analyst with a deep business and technical understanding of ServiceNow’s products. The ideal candidate will have a strong experience with Integrated Risk Management (IRM), Security Incident Response (SIR), Security Operations (SecOps), Third-party Risk Management (TPRM), and Vulnerability Response (VR), as well as a solid background in Agile/Scrum methodologies. This role will involve gathering and prioritizing business, functional, and technical requirements, leading cross-functional collaboration, and driving key business decisions through data-driven reports.
- Identify and Gather Requirements: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, gather, and prioritize business, functional, and technical requirements for ServiceNow applications and processes.
- Evaluate Business Processes: Identify and evaluate current business processes, workflows, and roadmaps, making recommendations for improvements and optimizations.
- Data-Driven Reporting: Create and maintain data-driven reports that provide actionable insights to support business decision-making and improve business operations.
- Lead Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to align objectives and ensure the successful implementation of ServiceNow solutions.
- Documentation & Knowledge Transfer: Develop and maintain relevant documentation, ensuring that knowledge transfer activities are conducted effectively to promote understanding and continuity across teams.
- ServiceNow Product Expertise: Focus on ServiceNow’s key product suites, including Integrated Risk Management (IRM), Security Incident Response (SIR), Security Operations (SecOps), Third-party Risk Management (TPRM), and Vulnerability Response (VR), with a bonus for experience in these areas.
- Agile/Scrum Practices: Lead or participate in Agile/Scrum processes, ensuring that project timelines, deliverables, and quality standards are met.
- ServiceNow Expertise: Strong knowledge and experience with ServiceNow products, specifically IRM, SIR, SecOps, TPRM, and VR.
- Business Analysis: Proven ability to identify, gather, and prioritize business requirements from stakeholders across various functional areas.
- Process Evaluation: Expertise in evaluating and optimizing business processes and workflows, helping to improve operational efficiencies.
- Reporting & Analytics: Experience creating and maintaining data-driven reports to support business decisions and operational improvements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Demonstrated experience leading or participating in cross-functional collaboration to deliver successful projects.
- Documentation & Knowledge Transfer: Ability to create clear and concise documentation and conduct knowledge transfer activities to ensure smooth transitions and knowledge retention across teams.
- Agile/Scrum Experience: Strong experience working within an Agile/Scrum environment and collaborating in Agile ceremonies (e.g., standups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Experience with Risk Management Products: Familiarity with Integrated Risk Management (IRM), Security Incident Response (SIR), Security Operations (SecOps), Third-party Risk Management (TPRM), and Vulnerability Response (VR) in the ServiceNow platform.
- Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP) or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certifications.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow’s platform capabilities for risk management, security, and third-party risk management.
- Previous experience in a similar business analyst role supporting IT service management or security operations.
