Job Overview:
We are seeking a Software Test Analyst with extensive experience in testing .NET web applications within an Agile environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing both manual and automated test cases, developing testing scripts, and ensuring software quality through various testing methodologies.
Requirements
- Design and execute manual and automated test cases for custom .NET web applications.
- Work within the secure application development lifecycle (SADLC) to ensure compliance and security in all testing phases.
- Develop and document comprehensive test plans, strategies, and scripts.
- Conduct API testing using tools like Postman and other REST clients.
- Write SQL and P-SQL queries for database testing and validation.
- Perform ADA Compliance testing using tools such as AccVerify, JAWS, etc.
- Generate testing reports and metrics to track the effectiveness and outcomes of testing efforts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and design appropriate test cases.
- Manage issue tracking and defect management to ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Build environment-specific test suites integrated with application lifecycle management.
Must-Have Skills:
- At least 5 years of experience in designing and executing test cases for software applications.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and quality assurance processes.
- Proficiency in Java and JavaScript for testing purposes.
- Experience with API testing and database query writing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
