Job Overview:
The Functional Solution Architect is pivotal in designing sustainable technical architectures that align with business goals. This role demands deep technical expertise coupled with strong business acumen to lead the design of solutions that effectively integrate business processes and technology.
- Design and maintain scalable and highly available cloud-native services, focusing on AWS.
- Utilize the well-architected framework to ensure robust system design.
- Develop end-to-end solutions integrating SAP S/4HANA and other business technologies, focusing on the Sales and Distribution module.
- Guide application development, database design, and enterprise integration, ensuring adherence to security best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Ensure all solution architectures meet enterprise policies, industry regulations, and best practices.
- Provide technical leadership during the implementation phase to ensure alignment with business objectives and architectural plans.
- Engage with stakeholders to refine and advocate for the adoption of new technologies and architectural approaches.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in designing cloud-native services, preferably on AWS.
- Expertise in SAP S/4, SAP Business Technology Platform, and relevant modules such as Sales and Distribution.
- Strong background in application development, enterprise integration patterns, and API management.
- Excellent knowledge of AWS platform services, Domain-Driven Design, and Enterprise Application Integration (Kafka, APIs).
- Ability to articulate complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Certifications in AWS, SAP, or other relevant technologies.
- Experience with cloud architecture frameworks.
