Job Purpose:
The Sr Project Manager - Scrum Master Payments will plan, direct, and coordinate activities of large, long-term, inter-departmental infrastructure or development projects in the Marketing and Payments domains. This role requires a professional who can operate under minimal supervision to ensure project goals and objectives are achieved within the set timeframe and budgetary constraints.
- Communication and Presentation: Keep stakeholders informed of progress, negotiate schedule and resource adjustments, function as the central communication point, and develop presentation content for Team and Project Sponsors.
- Project Governance: Establish effective governance by identifying and facilitating roles for Sponsor, Steering Group, and Stakeholder Group to ensure project alignment and support.
- Vendor Management: Develop and maintain positive relationships with vendors, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with service level agreements.
- Risk Management: Identify and analyze project risks, focus on resolving issues using appropriate escalation techniques to manage scope, schedule, budget, and quality impacts.
- Project Detail and Schedules: Develop work breakdown structures, manage schedules using project management tools, and handle resource allocations and assignments.
- Project Financials: Develop and manage project budgets, track financials, and manage resources effectively.
Skills & Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of hands-on project management and Scrum Master experience managing complex IT projects.
- Strong capability in managing large teams across multiple locations.
- Proficient in PM & Scrum tools and techniques including planning, risk management, budgeting, cost control, and software/SaaS acquisition.
- Experience with vendor contract management.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and people skills, able to engage at all levels up to Executive.
- Proficiency in tools such as WorkOtter, Jira, SharePoint, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Experience Desired:
- Knowledge of Cloud Data Platforms in marketing, customer analytics, and personalization in an omni-channel retail environment.
- Understanding of business process transformation and change management practices.
