Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager contractor to support client implementations in the healthcare sector. This role is critical for managing operational technical deployments, overseeing Request for Proposal (RFP) processes, and ensuring the successful implementation of healthcare technology systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare IT, compliance standards, and project management methodologies.
- Lead technical project management initiatives within healthcare environments, focusing on IT systems and endpoint management.
- Manage the entire lifecycle of RFP processes, including vendor evaluation and selection in a regulated healthcare environment.
- Oversee the deployment, integration, and migration of healthcare technology solutions across healthcare organizations.
- Collaborate with clinical staff, IT teams, and administrative departments to implement and optimize technology solutions.
- Ensure compliance with security standards such as HIPAA, HITECH, and FDA regulations.
- Utilize project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid approaches effectively.
- Maintain proficiency with project management tools like Jira, Asana, Smartsheet, and MS Project to track project progress and deliverables.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of five years of technical project management experience in healthcare environments.
- At least five years of experience working with healthcare IT endpoint systems.
- Minimum of three years of experience in managing RFP processes in a regulated environment.
- Strong expertise in deploying and integrating healthcare technology solutions.
- Proficient in using project management software and tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, business, or a related field (preferred).
