JOB DUTIES: Responsible for keeping the creel section of the warper loaded with full packages.
1. Creels in full packages of yarn into the warper creel, as packages run out making sure that the proper yarn count and yarn type is being used accordingly with ticket informtion hanging on head end of warper.
2. Properly ties all package tails securely to ensure a smooth transfer from the old package to the new one. All knots should be snipped to the proper length.
3. Checks to make sure all ends are properly threaded through the tension devices.
4. Keeps work area in creel section clean at all times. Yarn waste, empty cones, and pallets must be kept off the floor to avoid tripping over or catching on wheels of material handling trucks.
5. Keep empty cones loaded in trash bags and/or buggy making sure to empty all in trash compactor at each creel transfer.
6.Performs other duties as assigned by management.
7. Reports any excessive waiting for equipment or materials to management.
8. Report any defective machinery or equipment to management
9. Report any unsafe conditions to management.
10. Reports all injuries or accidents to management.
