We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Estimator with expertise in commercial and multi-family residential projects to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience using Esticom/Procure software to develop accurate, competitive, and timely electrical estimates. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with project managers, engineers, and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical construction projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
- Utilize Esticom/Procure software to create takeoffs, generate bids, and manage estimate data efficiently.
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine the scope of work.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure accurate and competitive bidding.
- Conduct market research on material costs, labor rates, and industry trends to maintain competitive pricing strategies.
- Manage multiple bid deadlines, ensuring timely submission of proposals.
- Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
- Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and project planning discussions as needed.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies and safety standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator in commercial and multi-family residential projects.
- Proficiency in Esticom/Procure software for estimating and takeoff processes.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, blueprints, and construction documents.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and schematics.
- Excellent mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred but not required).
- 5 years of electrical estimating experience in commercial and/or multi-family residential projects.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
