Forklift / Delivery Driver

Position Overview:
We are looking for a reliable forklift driver that has an excellent work ethic and is efficient with transporting materials throughout the facility safety. At times, will be asked to assist the logistics department in delivering product to our customers. The delivery driver shall be concerned with customer satisfaction and transporting items in a safe and timely manner.

Forklift Operator Responsibilities:

• Proven forklift operator experience.
• Loading / unloading customer and supplier trucks.
• Transporting materials to different locations within the facility.
• Optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency.
• Securing loads before transporting.
• Managing inventory by utilizing RF scanning equipment.
• Identifying workplace safety hazards.
• Adhering to safety management standards.
• Adhering to production schedules.

Forklift Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid fork-lifting certificate.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Proficiency in operating technical machinery and RF scanners.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task.

Delivery Driver Responsibilities:

• Loading, transporting, and delivering items to customers in a safe and timely manner.
• Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles.
• Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.
• Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
• Preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries.
• Communicating with dispatchers, drivers and other team members to make deliveries.

Delivery Driver Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license issued by the state where you intend to work.
• Clean driving record.
• Class A CDL license is preferred preferred, but not required.
• Experience may be required or preferred.
• Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws.
• Strong time management and customer service skills.
