Job Description
DND Groups is a privately held franchise management company and home to more than 62 quick services restaurants nationwide. We proudly represent 5 internationally recognised brands: Dairy Queen, Noodles & Co., Paris Baguette, Taco Johns, and Zaxby's.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build strong relationships with colleagues and managers to create a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by providing a warm welcome, maintaining a clean environment, and going above and beyond to ensure customers leave happy.
- Assist customers with inquiries, offering product information and recommendations to enhance their experience.
- Maintain display areas by checking quality, refilling products, and organizing displays.
- Show enthusiasm for learning about our products, specialty menu items, and coffee expertise.
- Manage orders efficiently by accurately recording them, working as a team to prepare orders, and following manager direction.
- Operate the POS system (Toast) and handle cash transactions with accuracy.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following DND Groups' standards and policies.
- Pay attention to detail and maintain a tidy environment.
- Present a sharp and polished appearance in uniform.
- Work at various stations, including Barista, POS, Greeter, Merchandiser, and Pick-Up Specialist, depending on business needs.
Requirements:
- Ability to work in various temperatures, stand for long periods, and lift up to 35 pounds.
- Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, friendly disposition, and ability to contribute in a team environment.
- Basic math skills, reading ability, and capacity to follow directions.
- 1-2 years of retail, customer service, and food handling experience preferred.
- High School Diploma/GED or some college education preferred.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays.
- Strong sense of integrity and ownership.
- Excellent time management, prioritization, and direction-following skills.
- Proficiency in Point of Sale systems, specifically Toast, and understanding of cash handling and accuracy.
