We are on the lookout for an exceptional Active Directory System Administrator to take charge of supporting and managing our Mission Support authentication systems in both on-premises and Azure cloud environments. This pivotal role is essential for guaranteeing secure and smooth user authentication, as well as effective oversight of domain-level services and policies. The perfect candidate will possess extensive knowledge in Active Directory administration, Azure cloud, and smart card authentication systems, complemented by strong scripting skills.
Requirements
Authentication Infrastructure Management:
Maintain and monitor the infrastructure supporting user authentication to ensure continuous availability, performance, and security.
Scripting & Automation
Develop and maintain scripts to streamline domain activity reporting, user management, and authentication processes.
Smart Card Authentication Support
Provide support and troubleshooting for smart card authentication, including Personal Identity Verification (PIV) and Common Access Cards (CAC).
Active Directory Administration
Manage Microsoft Windows Active Directory domains, utilizing tools such as Active Directory Users and Computers, Domains and Trusts, and Sites and Services to uphold domain integrity and security.
Azure Cloud Administration
Administer and support Azure Cloud Tenant environments, ensuring seamless authentication integration and secure cloud operations.
Education & Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Systems, Management Information Systems, IT Management, or a related field.
Degrees in engineering, mathematics, or science are also considered acceptable alternatives.
Certification Requirements
Minimum of 8 years of relevant IT experience required.
Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) or equivalent certification required.
