POSITION PURPOSE
DNO, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Associate to join our team. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in our operations by ensuring timely and accurate processing of materials, maintaining inventory levels, and delivering excellent shipping and receiving services. This includes handling all aspects of receiving materials—processing, verifying, and documenting the receipt—and keeping computer records up to date. You will also be responsible for moving materials and finished goods to their designated locations.
ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS
- Pick and process orders promptly and accurately
- Verify received goods and update inventory records
- Utilize forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials and finished goods to designated areas
- Prepare shipping documents and process shipments
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized warehouse
- Monitor cooler temperatures to meet specified requirements
- Drive trucks as needed
- Ensures the warehouse is clean and in good order and items are housed where they are supposed to be
- Follow and enforces GMPs and Food Safety Policies.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures and standards. Understanding related computer applications.
- Ability to perform basic math skills
- Proficiency in operating warehouse machinery, including forklifts and pallet jacks
- Moderate/Heavy work; exert up to 60 lbs. occasionally and/or up to 30 lbs frequently. Rarely will need to exert up to 70 lbs. or more.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in a warehouse environment
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team
- Understand and operate handheld computers.
- Reliable Transportation/Attendance
- Bi-Lingual
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Workers are subject to varying - inside temperatures, which includes extreme cold (temperatures at about 32 degrees).
