Position Summary :
Responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of automated equipment including pumps, blowers, gearboxes, conveyors, relay logic, PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and the HVAC system. Conducts preventative maintenance and parts replacement. Supports production with equipment breakdowns and documents actions accordingly.
Essential Functions :
- Works on automated equipment and performs calibration and system inspections.
- Works with production to improve equipment efficiency.
- Completes work on one-time and scheduled work orders.
- Performs routine preventive maintenance per manufacturer or company specifications.
- Installs new equipment from utility preparation through setup and continued maintenance, assists with the physical preparation of piping and electrical wiring required for changes and additions to the facility.
- Rebuilds equipment to like new condition.
- Diagnostics of automated equipment including PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and all control circuits.
- Completes welding assignments as scheduled.
- Follows all safety rules and procedures and operates equipment in accordance with established safety policies and department procedures.
- Responsible for maintaining related records.
- Effective communication to all levels of the company.
- Follows Food Safety rules in production area and when working on equipment.
- Training for continued growth available.

Shift 2 : 00 pm until midnight or production has completed their orders - overtime available
