QA Tech I

1st shift Entry Level Quality Technician

4 - 10-hour shifts - Thursday - Sunday 4 : 00 am - 2 : 30 pm

16.00 to start $17.25 after QA Tech II training completed (generally takes 60 - 90 days to complete)

POSITION SUMMARY

Quality Technicians are responsible for ensuring the safety and quality of products produced from the receiving to shipping. They are responsible for monitoring Good Manufacturing Practices & facility temperatures, performing process checks & facility inspections, and embodying DNO’s stringent food safety & quality standards.

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

• Product weight checks
• Environmental temperature monitoring
• Sanitizer station testing
• Effective communication – written and verbal
• Metal detector operational testing
• Package integrity monitoring
• Pre-shift inspections
• Oversees GMP compliance
• Other related tasks as assigned
• Tech I’s are expected to begin training into a Tech II role at or before 90 days of employment
