Position Summary
This position is responsible for the stockroom parts availability for our food production facility. Candidate will work with the Maintenance Manager and other Technicians to assure all parts are in stock and available when needed. An ideal candidate will be able to manage the parts system but also get hands dirty when called upon to conduct Preventative Maintenance on equipment.

Essential Functions
- Source and purchase maintenance parts and materials needed for equipment repairs and upkeep.
- Maintain inventory levels to ensure parts availability and minimize downtime.
- Work closely with maintenance and engineering teams to understand part specifications and requirements.
- Process and track all purchase transactions, ensuring proper documentation for each order.
- Maintain an organized inventory system, conducting regular stock audits.
- Performs routine preventive maintenance per manufacturer or company specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Will follow all safety rules and procedures and operates equipment in accordance with established safety policies and department procedures.
- Willing to receive training for continued growth.
- A background in industrial or mechanical maintenance is preferred but not required.
- Proven experience as a Parts Buyer, Maintenance Buyer, or in a similar procurement role (2 years preferred).
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supply chain management, and inventory control.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and purchasing software or ERP systems.
